Who
I am a food hobbyist / enthusiast. I love to travel to try new restaurants and places where I can take part in what I call "tasty" research. I enjoy trying various foods and desserts that can enlighten my palate. I like to cook with wine, and on occasion I will even put it in the dish. By no means do I consider myself a pro or even good at cooking or baking. What I make is edible.
The biggest benefit of me taking up food as a hobby is that it gives me something to live for. When I am stressed or annoyed, bored or sad, happy or mad, I will go to the kitchen. To me cooking (and eating) food is a form of therapy.
Above all else I believe that food has the power to move people: crappy food can make even the happiest person sad and annoyed; while great food can make the angriest-miserable person happy....

Why
This blog was something that my boyfriend encouraged me to do because he thought I needed something to be passionate about during a period of my life where I was feeling "lost". Of course being me, I ignored my boyfriend and was getting annoyed with all the pressure to find myself. Months later my friend Crystal started telling me I should start a blog as she respected my opinion on places to eat. Again I laughed it off and ignored it...but for some reason it kept resurfacing in the back of my mind (She can be very persuasive and positive when she wants to be).
What
So now here I am with this new space I've created as my therapy to everyday doldrums. A place where I can continue to share my personal opinions on places I eat at,a place to talk about my own adventures and misfortunes in my kitchen, and if nothing else a place to post my ever growing food porn collection.
Notes & Disclosure
It should be noted that I get my inspiration for the foods I cook from the fantastic world of the internet, including but not limited to Pinterest, Instagram, Epicurious, etc. I like to test recipes, then modify them to make them my own.
